Vanessa is originally from Hong Kong and after doing her A-levels in Salisbury, she graduated from King’s College London in 2008. She has always enjoyed working in general and family dentistry with her interest in aesthetics leading her to complete further training on anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing treatments along with Kayleigh. Vanessa is a keen inline skater; having completed the Berlin inline skating marathon in 2015, she is hoping to do more skating marathons around the world in the near future. She also enjoys various sports and socialising with friends and family.
Jay spent his childhood in London and graduated from the University of Sheffield with honours alongside Kayleigh. He enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, particularly the artistic elements which motivated him to complete a postgraduate course on Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry taught by Dr. Christopher Orr. Outside of the dental world, Jay’s interests are wide and varied, from the cinema and sports, to getting his hands dirty doing DIY.
Kayleigh grew up in Suffolk and graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2009 with honours. During her time in general practice Kayleigh worked as an educational supervisor for several years. She is interested in restorative dentistry and particularly enjoys using composite to create beautiful white fillings that look as natural as possible. She also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and has completed further training on anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing treatments with Vanessa. With a new addition at home, Kayleigh enjoys spending time with her lovely son and family.
Brogan qualified as a Dental Hygiene Therapist in 2018 from King’s College London. She has gained a wealth of experience within private practice, the NHS Dental Service and Community settings. Brogan has a keen interest in patient management and working with those who are dentally anxious. She believes her empathetic and caring approach to dentistry allows her to identify her patients as people first, and tailor her treatment and advice to their individual needs. Outside of work, Brogan enjoys travelling and is currently outfitting her own campervan.
The Dunedin Dental team are a dedicated and experienced team of dental clinicians, graduating from The University of Sheffield and Kings College London. They have worked together for a number of years and are fully qualified in all the latest aspects of modern dentistry, with an extensive track record of postgraduate education.
Our aim is to provide excellent dental health for you and your family through preventive dentistry. This means giving you regular dental advice and helping you understand how to care for your teeth to reduce the need for dental treatment. Regular oral health assessments are designed to spot potential problems as soon as possible and take early action. Our practice is in a modern, custom designed, air conditioned, ground floor premises with easy access for both the able and disabled.
At Dunedin Dental our services are available for private patients. Denplan allows patients to budget for their private dental care, should they choose to. We are also happy to treat children on this basis also. After an initial consultation, a treatment plan will be discussed with you. We have digital X-ray facilities to help assess a course of treatment. There may be a number of options available and it is our aim for you to be fully involved with the choices available and for you to understand how your treatment will progress. We offer fillings in tooth-coloured materials; crowns & veneers in porcelain to improve appearance of your teeth. Teeth whitening is also available. We can provide bridges or implants to replace missing teeth and have a wealth of experience in the construction of part and full dentures.The high quality of patient care provided by Dunedin Dental includes regular preventive sessions, with required recall appointments available within a quick timeframe.
Regular appointments are made at your convenience and we aim to see you at the agreed time. Please be patient if there are delays; we will keep you informed, but occasionally they are unavoidable. If you are unable to keep an appointment no charge will be made for cancellation provided reasonable notice is given. We would be grateful if you could give 24 hours notice where possible. In an emergency please call as soon as possible. When the surgery is closed an answer phone message will give information on contacting an emergency dentist. We always welcome comments and questions on any aspect of our practice, and we will be happy to discuss your needs at any time.

On weekdays, when the surgery is closed, a message can be left on the practice answerphone and we will aim to contact you as soon as possible, usually on the next working day. During weekends and on bank holidays we operate an out of hours service between the hours of 8:00 and 14:00 (please note call out charges apply should we need to open the practice)
